Shelter Cats Euthanized
More than a million cats enter shelters every year in the US. Even though about 80% are healthy or treatable and should be adopted or returned the wild, most get euthanized.
Inhumane Treatment
Stray cats living among us are subject to cruel extermination policies. Without the proper help, they are often killed ruthlessly. This attracts more cats to occupy the space and repopulate.
Unwanted And Unloved
Only around 20% percent of cats that enter animal shelters are adopted, and just 2% of abandoned or lost cats that enter shelters are ever reunited with their owners.
